This grizzled blademaster fought alongside Marneus Calgar and Chaplain Cassius when all three were neophytes. He has honed his skills tirelessly, eschewing command in favour of martial excellence. Calgar summoned his old comrade to serve as his champion in the wake of a near‑fatal duel against Abaddon the Despoiler.
